A bit of history

In 1985 Alain Moron has been chosen by the Chinese families Go and Tan to launch their brand GO-TAN in France. They hired a French designer to develop a special packaging for France and decided to invest in a fully automated Japanese packing machine.

End of 1986 “Pétales à la crevette” GO-TAN, the popular Indonesian prawn crackers, were introduced on the shelves of the largest French hypermarkets with an immediate success.

Step by step TWF has increased its brands portfolio with dry, fresh and frozen foods and has entered various distribution channels, retail chains, cash & carry, food service and industry.

Even today our teams launch new products with the same energy and enthusiasm.

We love facing new challenges and our focus on the brands we trust remains the same.A bit of history

Conveying our passion and our expertise

Our culinary & sommelier chefs at our clients' service.

Transmitting knowledge through higher education is a TWF key pillar.

Our culinary and sommelier chefs offer their services to our professional clients to help them to develop new food and tea menus. They frequently attend regional and national events.

Alain Moron was lucky enough to start working with Dilmah, a family owned company growing the finest Ceylon teas. Alain fell in love of this unique vertically integrated producer of Single Origin and Ethical Teas.

Merrill J. Fernando, the well-known founder of Dilmah teas, and his sons Dilhan and Malik, shared with Alain their philosophy of commitment to “Business is a matter of human service”.

In 2009 TWF and Dilmah partnered with the Institute Paul Bocuse and founded the Dilmah School of Tea, the 1st international school of tea. TWF is involved in the teaching of tea to students originating from 40 countries to graduate from the Institute Paul Bocuse.

Alain has been trained in Sri Lanka by Dilmah and decided to send his staff and sales forces to the Dilmah School of Tea in the Ceylon tea gardens. Then Alain recruited a chef sommelier to transmit in France his passion for tea to his hospitality & gastronomy clients.
